Since its inception in 2007 with an aim to promote chemical engineering, AZeotropy IIT Bombay is now recognized as the leading chemical engineering symposium organized in India with a yearly participation of over 4000 students from 300 different engineering colleges all over India and more than 50 corporate personalities working in the field. We are a non-profit organization working towards bridging the gap between Students, Industry and Academia. AZeotropy as a whole is an interesting blend of various intriguing Competitions, Lecture Series, Panel Discussions, Exhibitions, Workshops and many fun-with-learning events. In line with these intentions, AZeotropy has been striving ever since towards its mission with a promise of spanning the length and breadth of Chemical Engineering!

Chemical transformations can be used for a multitude of ingenious activities apart from the synthesis of useful final products. One such application is designing of stop switches. Chem-E-Switch provides you with a platform to come up with creative models which use chemical reactions to break electrical circuits at specific intervals of time.

I-CARE SOCIAL CAMPAIGN
A greatly appreciable initiative was taken by AZeotropy to promote a socially driven cause in 2015. It comprised a Social Campaign spreading awareness regarding Eye Care and free Test Camps in which a large number of students benefitted.

ChemRover is a competition organized by AZeotropy which looks for creative minds among engineering students who can come up with innovative solutions for driving a vehicle powered by non-conventional sources of energy.
